Day 1 – Arrival & Leisure Day

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport - Welcome to magical Tanzania! You will be met by a Crew & Staff Vacations representative at the airport and escorted to your vehicle for the transfer to Chanya Lodge for your lunch and overnight stay.

Enjoy the fabulous dinner and relax for the rest of the night in the lodge.

Day 2 – Day Trip – Materuni Waterfalls Kilimanjaro

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the lodge.

After having a nice breakfast, you will leave Moshi town at about 9:00 am. You will be transferred to Materuni Waterfall at the slopes of Kilimanjaro Mountain for a beautiful day trip.

Afternoon a hot and tasty lunch awaits you at Materuni.

Activities include:

• Visiting the Materuni waterfalls
• Engaging in coffee making process
• Spectacular closer view of the Kilimanjaro Mountain

After the tour will transfer you back to Chanya lodge for overnight.

Enjoy and relax for the rest of the night in the lodge.

Day 3 – Tarangire National Park

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the lodge.

After breakfast, you will meet your driver at 6:30 am and start your trip to Tarangire National Park.

Highlight of true Afrcia is finally here - drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Park is famous for its huge elephants & big african cats. This amazing experience will take place until approx 6:00 pm followed by a visit to Masai Village for 30 – 45 min. Transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight at Karatu Octagon Lodge (depends on availability).

Enjoy the fabulous dinner and relax for the rest of the night in the lodge.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro & Departure to Zanzibar

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the lodge.

After breakfast, departure from the hotel. It is a one hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater, famous for its Big 5 & beautiful volcanic mountains around the view of the African wildlife. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lions that include the magnificent, black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds to be seen as well. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.

After the lunch, transfer to Arusha Airport for the domestic flight to Zanzibar.

Meet & greet upon your arrival at Zanzibar, followed by transfer to your beach hotel.

Day 5 – Leisure beach day

Enjoy the fabulous beach stay and relax at your beach hotel.

Day 6 - Explore Zanzibar – Half Day trip

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the hotel.

Pick up from the hotel at 8:30 am, followed by a Half Day trip with Lunch.

Stone Town city tour, Nakupenda Island & Prison Island.

Pick up from the hotel to take you to Prison Island to see tortoises, proceed to Nakupenda island for BBQ seafood lunch and spend a time at the sandbanks of Nakupenda Island and Stone Town walking city tour.

Stone Town city tour begins with a visit to Zanzibar’s colorful market, alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady smell of exotic fruit. Continue to the site of a cathedral built in 1874. The cathedral signifies a potent time in Zanzibar’s history and stands on the sight of a past slave market with the high altar standing on the exact site of the whipping post. Slavery was abolished in 1873 by decree of the Sultan of Zanzibar. From here follows the visit of the residence of the late Sultan of Zanzibar, ‘Tip Tip House’, the Old Fort, ‘People's Palace’ and the House of Wonders’, full of intrigue from days of long ago. The tour ends with a stroll down the narrow streets of the old Stone Town, the heart of Zanzibar’s checkered history.

After the return to your beach hotel, relax and enjoy your day on the beach.

Day 7 – Leisure beach day

Day 8 – Departure

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the hotel.

After the check out you will proceed with the departure transfer to the airport, in connection with your international departure flight from Zanzibar.

Chanya Lodge Kilimanjaro

Accommodation for 2 nights – day 1 to 3

Chanya Lodge is nestled on the outskirts of Moshi town, in Tanzania (East Africa), at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. The prime location of the lodge is a 50-minute drive away from Kilimanjaro International Airport, making it an ideal stay for trekkers, safari seekers, business people and families.
