Day 1 – Arrival in Sri Lanka - Kandy

Ayubowan – Welcome to Sri Lanka! You will be met by Crew & Staff Vacations representative at the Colombo airport & will be escorted to your vehicle for the transfer to Kandy for your overnight hotel (approx. 3 hours drive).

Enjoy the hotel, relax and you will be visiting the most beautiful places in Kandy – former capital of Sri Lanka.

Afternoon visit: Kandy temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic: When King Wimaladharmasuriya I (1592-1604 A.D.) became King in Kandy, he searched for the Tooth Relic and the bowl Relic of the Buddha and found that it was kept at the Delgamuwa. Visit to the temple is followed by a traditional Cultural Show, performed by folklore artists of Sri Lanka.

Day 2 – Kandy – Sigiriya - Dambulla

Morning Visit: Sigiriya was designated as a world heritage site in 1982. Sigiriya is famous for its palace ruins on top of a massive 200-meter-high rock, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures. The rock itself is a lava plug left over from an ancient long extinct volcano.

Afternoon Visit: Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings.

Day 3 – Kandy – Ravana - Ella

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the hotel.

After a beautiful 2 nights trip in Kandy, you will be leaving for Ella - one of the most beautiful cities in Sri Lanka, by car or taking the train ride from Kandy to Ella (optional), it is your choice.

Morning Visit: The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the 'Bridge in the Sky' was constructed by connecting two big mountains when constructing the Badulla – Colombo railway. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width and 80-100 feet in height. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country.

Afternoon Visit: One of the newest attractions in Ella is the Flying Ravana Zipline. It’s over 500 meters long and travels at over 80 km per hour. It’s one activity that’s sure to get your heart racing!

Evening Visit: Ravana falls is named after the demon King Ravana who, according to traditional folklore, is believed to have ruled Sri Lanka. It is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka and currently ranks as one of the widest waterfalls in the country.

Day 4 – Ella - Galle

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the hotel.

After all the culture, history, mountains and adventure you have enjoyed, you will be reaching to the coast of Sri Lanka to get your skin tanned.

The day is for you to enjoy the beautiful Unawatuna beach and the authentic Sri Lankan seafood dishes.

Day 5 - Galle

After the lovely breakfast in the hotel, you will be leaving for a city tour in Galle.

Morning Visit: Galle Fort is an UNESCO World Heritage Site, originally built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and then further developed by the Dutch and the British over the next 350 years. It covers nearly 4 square km and is protected by 12 bastions and connecting ramparts.

Afternoon Visit: Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya believed to be more than 2000 years old, when Buddhism was first established in the island, the Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya is one of the few monuments in the Galle district that explains the history of Sri Lanka. Possessing some intricate works of art originating from various kingdoms, the temple showcases how religion is deeply intertwined with the way of life.

Evening Visit: Jungle Beach Unawatuna Located west of Unawatuna, Jungle Beach is a hidden bay surrounded by Rumassala Jungle. The beach is stunning, untouched, and tranquil, making it an excellent location for swimming in calm water. You can enjoy water sports at Jungle Beach including snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, boat rides, and many others. The reefs that extend out of the water a few meters offshore are ideal for snorkeling and introducing you to the region's unique marine life. Other activities at Jungle Beach include whale viewing, historical ruins visits, jungle climbing, and more.

Day 6  - Galle – Airport

Enjoy the lovely breakfast in the hotel.

You will checkout from the resort and leave for the airport. On your way, our driver will take you to a shopping complex in Colombo to do some shopping and a slight city tour.
